Resume Critiques | Getting Started | Samples | Additional Resources
It is highly recommended that you have your resume and cover letters critiqued by Career Center Staff.
- Email the document(s) to: careercenter@camden.rutgers.edu (Word Document, not PDF or Canva) or drop it off at the Career Center, lower level of the Campus Center.
- Critiques take 1 – 2 business days, but may take longer during busy times of year, such as the week before a career fair.
- Download the Career Center’s Resume and Cover Letter Guide for best practices and samples and TIPS FOR GETTING STARTED ON YOUR RESUME.
- RESUME BASICS – the do’s and don’ts of resume writing.
- DO NOT USE PRE-MADE RESUME TEMPLATES – Create your resume in Microsoft Word.
Pre-made templates include tables which applicant tracking software cannot read.
